October is Here!

Now that we are into Fall, several of the classes are looking forward to the upcoming Fall events. Halloween parties in the classrooms will be planned by your child’s teacher. Look for a sign up sheet coming through the email or the class folder. Thank you for your help!

School Trick or Treating

On October 30, the classes will go to other classes in the hallway for trick or treating. They may dress in a costume. Each class will ask for candy from the parents. Please — no nuts, gum or hard candy. THANK YOU!

Halloween Parties

All class parties will be on Friday, October 30!

Read more on our Facebook page about events.

Wesleyan School Holiday

Monday, October 12, is a school holiday.

Did You Know?

We have two special helpers to keep our school clean and safe! Jannett Tadlock and Tori Overstreet help escort our students on arrival and they help keep the classes clean and fresh each day. Tori helps our PK2 students with diaper changes and she is our lunch helper for the Elementary students.

Teacher Profile: Karen Buchanan

Karen Buchanan is our 1st-3rd grade teacher. She was the next-door neighbor to Ms. Iffland here in Irving. Karen was a home school Mom K-8 for her 4 daughters when they were younger. During most summers, you can find Karen teaching or developing a program for swim lessons! Thank you for all your hard work for the start of school!

Thank You!

We appreciate Wesleyan families for your help at keeping all the students healthy! Stay home if not feeling well! On Mondays, we will have you sign the arrival form.
