Glow Party November 10th
On November 10 during the recess time, students may participate in our annual GLOW PARTY DANCE!. In the past, the event has been a fundraiser, but this year we are asking students to donate food items to come to the dance. The church office needs the following items for persons coming into the church asking for food. Please have your child dress in GLOW OR BRIGHT CLOTHES and BRING (1) FOOD ITEM SUCH AS:
- SPAM (PLEASE POP - TOP)
- VIENNA SAUSAGE, OR CANNED HEARTY MEATS OR SOUPS (POP - TOP PLEASE)
WEAR BRIGHT OR NEON CLOTHING! A DJ WILL COME TO PLAY MUSIC!
The Wesleyan annual tradition of a student dance party will be on FRIDAY! For over 15 years, Wesleyan has had a fundraiser dance for its students with a DJ coming to play family FUN music for dancing. This year, we ask you only to bring a can good for persons coming to the church for food.
Examples of food items to bring include: meat soups or canned meats such as ham, chicken or SPAM with the pop-tops, please. Other foods to bring are peanut butter or pasta.
We will also have treats to eat! Thank you!
Parents are invited to come to the dance! Please see the schedule for the time of your child's recess.
Ice cream with toppings will be served as a treat!
UNIFORM Policy Added
The new items added to the uniform policy include the following:
- white tights or white leggings (no pants) on chapel day for girls.
No other colors, please! The list of new items was placed in your child's backpack. Thank you for having your child in uniform Monday through Thursday!
Holiday Calendar
Thanksgiving holiday week will be November 20 through 24. Classes resume November 27.
The Christmas holiday will be December 22 through January 5. Classes resume January 8.
